Exhibit
From June 29 till September 30 a special tribute is made to Yves TANGUY at the Musée des Beaux Arts of Quimper in Brittany. André CARIOU, Museum Director and Exhibit Curator have succeeded gathering major works. These works will travel to Barcelona at the Museum of National Arts of Cataluna from October 2007 until January 2008

Yves is now recognised as the main Britton painter of the 20th century and admirers of his work should do their best to attend. In May 1954, with his usual sarcastic wits, Yves wrote to his sister Emilie:

"Both (1) of us work for this silly Hartford Exhibit – as if I was exhibiting at the Quimper Museum. "

(1) Kay Sage and I
