The Roots of Yves Tanguy
Sister houses

Le Prieuré, house where Yves spent part of his youth. It is the cradle of his imaginary world, where he created his first work of art. Yves kept a strong attachement to his Britton roots. His last will of having his ashes dispersed in the Douardenez Bay, right over the legendary town of YS was fully respected.

Town farm, in the Connecticut city of Woodbury, house where Yves lived until his death. Town Farm and Le Prieuré recently became Sister Houses as both present owners have a passion for Yves' work. This is the first stone of the cultural bridge being built across the ocean between the USA and Brittany. -
